BlackBerry Curve 9220 dilengkapi dengan layar TFT berukuran 2.44 inchi (320 × 240 pixel) dengan full qwerty keyboard, OS BlackBerry 7, dan kamera resolusi 2 megapixel. Pada produk terbitan terbaru ini, RIM menjanjikan BBM (BlackBerry Messenger) khusus agar bisa lebih cepat untuk chatting yang lebih baik.
